We’re delighted to share news of the latest round of Community Enrichment grant awards. This round of grants totaling $40,000 will be distributed among 12 organizations working across West Marin to strengthen community bonds and provide meaningful learning opportunities for residents and visitors alike.

Youth take part in a production of Peter and the Wolf through grant funding to Sharron Drake Community Arts.

The June 2025 grant cycle reflects a spirit of gathering and growth in the region, with projects ranging from community gatherings to educational programs nurturing both individual development and collective understanding. These grants continue our commitment to fostering the vibrant, inclusive community that makes West Marin such a treasured region.

Whether through intergenerational programming, hands-on learning experiences, or spaces that bring neighbors together around common interests and values, these grants foster deeper connections between individuals and among people and the land. From yoga classes that support senior wellness to infrastructure upgrades that strengthen community outreach programs, these projects demonstrate the many ways community enrichment can manifest itself.

“These grants represent our ongoing investment in the relationships, creativity, and experiences that define West Marin’s character,” notes Sarah Hobson, Executive Director. “Each project creates opportunities for people to connect with one another, learn something new, and contribute to the wellbeing and creative expression of our shared community.”

The impact of Community Enrichment grants extends far beyond their dollar amounts. Previous grantees have created lasting programs that continue to serve residents, demonstrating innovative approaches to community building that take root and flourish.

Looking ahead, our next Community Enrichment grant application deadline is September 15, 2025.
