Evidence shows that when marginalized communities have greater representation and leadership, it leads to more equitable policies, improved access to resources, and stronger community resilience.
West Marin Fund has been a key driver in advancing equity and justice in West Marin, and we are committed to continually expanding and supporting this work. Our Equity and Justice initiative prioritizes increasing the representation of Black, Indigenous, and other racially marginalized communities by advocating for and actively recruiting individuals from those communities for grant review committees, advisory roles, board assignments, and staff positions.
